I bought this book to teach a class...
By Melissa Piccone
I reviewed the book and then I didn't really use it much in my class. I used the lesson files, but not the lessons. This book is big, full of content. It's really hard to squeeze everything in. These books are really an overview of what you can do, not a one stop shop learn it all. To become proficient with any of the programs you really want to dive deeper into the individual applications with a dedicated book. However, if you ready know one or more and want to see what else you can do, this is a good book. As an example, in the photoshop section they start with some basics and quickly jump into some expert stuff. A beginner will be completely lost. With all the updates in cloud, the flash section is already outdated.

This is for the Kindle edition only
By Amazon Customer
I had to return the kindle version of this book after using it for only 10 minutes. The screen shots in the kindle edition are unreadable. I was going to use this book to help me get up to speed quickly using InDesign. The screen shots in the figures that are used as examples are so small, you can't read anything in them. Most kindle versions of books that I've ordered have had separate links to files that show the figures in a new window so you can see the necessary detail. Not this book. If you need to have examples that you can see properly, I'd try another book.

not super in depth
By Amazon Customer
As a graphic design student and working in the field at the same time, this book has been a valuable resource for me. It gives a brief overview of the basics of each of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, not super in depth, but enough to get you going on whatever project you are working on. I've also found the video tutorials from Adobe Creative Cloud to be extremely helpful. This book shipped fast and was way cheaper than buying it at my Campus bookstore. Added bonus - the attractive book cover makes it nice enough to sit on my desk at work.
