4Very Good Introduction, But Not Advanced or Perfect
By Rachel Gotwalt
This is a good simple introduction to AngularJS. If you know HTML and some JavaScript (the basics), you should be able to follow easily. You won't learn advanced topics, so be aware that this is best just as an introduction.

It loses 1 star from me because of the following:

(1) The version of AngularJS he uses is older, and some of the code he provides won't work. But only needs some tweeking.
(2) There are some minor code typos. But you should be able to figure it out pretty simply.
(3) There are grammar issues.
(4) Chapter 9 got a bit hard to follow. I actually looked online to get some understanding and then came back.
(5) You won't learn too much, and only basic stuff.

So I would recommend this book. But it's not perfect.

5A simplified and well-explained book!
By Josh Carlson
A well-explained book. It offers a simple approach in discussing how coding is done using AngularJS. The book can be well understood if you have the basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML programming. The author effectively shares his expertise through giving illustrations and sample coding exercises with a step-by-step instruction to follow through. Any beginner could easily grasp this coding program and could successfully start web app development.

2Content is Dated
By Theresa L. Hanson
I like the examples as they are great to learn from. If I'm too be picky there are plenty of typos, even in the code examples. But most importantly I don't think the examples are up to date. Atleast they don't work the way they have them in the book. For instance, in the book it builds controllers as functions, but I'm only able to get the controllers to work if I create them off the angular module as such:
var app = angular.module('test',[]);
$scope.addItem = function(){
$scope.newitem ="";
