About the Author

For over 25 years Jaime Levy has been a pioneer in the creation of innovative digital products and services distributed on disk media, mobile devices, the Web and iTV. Currently she runs a User Experience Strategy and Design consultancy based in Los Angeles. Her practice caters to startups and enterprises that are open to practicing "lean" principles for transforming their business concepts into sustainable and scalable online solutions. Jaime is also a part-time college professor teaching a graduate level course called "User Experience Design and Strategy" at the University of Southern California (USC) in the Viterbi School of Engineering.

5Informative and interesting

I'm a BSA and have helped design a few websites, as I've learned things like usability, web best practices, information architecture, and more, I've felt like there was so much more to learn. I purchased Enter UX Strategy to master some great techniques I felt to be lacking. I've gotten a great understanding of what it is. Levy gives good examples and steps while going through some sample projects.
After reading this book, I feel I have a learned a lot about UX Strategy. Levy breakes down what UX Strategy is, why it matters, and how to do it. Any UX person, or anyone else, could learn and be inspired by this book.

5UX Evolution

I was looking for the content strategy book from someone who understands UX or other way around. UX Strategy was a no brainier. Traditionally, the UX deliverables don't focus on validated user research or business strategy and it is mostly because of tight budgets, tight deadlines, teams that don't understand the process, and UX still being a relatively new thing in this digital business. In desire to be more objective in my deliverables I needed something to validate my process. I picked up UX Strategy and I love it. It's absolutely fantastic. Beside validation for my process I was able to fill many knowledge gaps. I also realized how to simplify my process and make my life much easier. I feel the UX strategy is on the forefront of UX evolution. Thank you Jaime.

5A great book to begin UX design.

User experience design for newcomers can be a bit overwhelming because it involves so many principles, add to that the field is growing and changing. This book was helpful in that it provides real examples and the outcomes. As a newcomer to the UX field, this book doesn't inundate you with jargon, explains everything clearly, and provides links to other books and resources that can better introduce you to the field. Today we are solving problems that did not exist 10 years ago on digital platforms and this book will definitely help guide the first important steps of the process.
