Product Description

For undergraduate and graduate courses in business.

Understanding The Vast And Expanding Field of E-Commerce

Laudon’s E-Commerce 2016: Business, Technology, Society emphasizes three driving forces behind the expanding field of e-commerce: technology change, business development, and social issues. A conceptual framework uses the templates of many modern-day companies to further demonstrate the differences and complexities in e-commerce today. An in-depth investigation of companies such as Uber, Pinterest, and Apple kick-off the course while preparing you for real-life scenarios.

In the Twelfth Edition, Laudon and Traver add new or update existing case studies to match developments in the e-commerce field as they exist in today’s tech world. They built in additional video cases for each chapter, making the material even more accessible as you prepare for your future in business.

1If you buy this for a class, return it.
By ericjs1
This book has so many mistakes in it that I am more frustrated as I read more and more of the book for my class. 12th edition? Please. I am so appreciative, Kenneth Laudon. You are stealing from consumers with this book. I expect a lot more from a book that claims to have this many editions. Get your act together. This is disrespectful.

The ISBN led me to this book but it is not correct. A bunch of my classmates had the same problem. The chapters are mostly the same but not in the same order. It is still frustrating.

1Pretty awful
By Amazon Customer
Dreadful book. All the information you'll ever need about E-Commerce and So much more. With a few inaccuracies that I've posted messages to the authors about (and received no replies), plus a heavy pro-Apple bias.
If it wasn't required by a college course I am taking, I would never have considered it.
