5A Great Book Showing How To Turn Your Smartphone Into A Marketing Machine, By A Master Marketer

Ok, I'm not a friend of the author, and am not a student of his. This is a real review of the book. I bought the hard copy.

To get the most out of this book, you need to look at it from two points of view. First, the content of the book, what you learn. Keonigs essentialy tells you that "working an event" is a great way to prospect. I can promise you, this is true. Meeting people at events (on marketing, or for businesspeople) is a very select group of people that are used to spending money at events. You almost can't get a better prospect, if you are selling to the niche that attends. The more they paid to attend the event, the better. But you can still get great results at free events.
I know three marketers that go to large marketing events about three or four times a year. And that's the only prospecting they need to do. It's that effective.

Then the author gives you every single template you need to meet the prospects, what to say....everything, and then use your phone to send them texts and videos, culminating in a high ends sale a few days later. I know these techniques work. I've used them in the past to make
sales, and they have been used to make sales to me. The methods are sound.

You also get complete examples selling several different high end services. Things you could sell to business owners, other marketers, book authors...and of course, by seeing so many examples, you can adapt easily to any kind of offer. Truly a quick great read.

Now lets look at the book itself...the product. Here is where many lessons are learned, if you ever want to use a book as a marketing tool. Koenigs does it beautifully, and with class.

First, the price. At $3.99, the author is making nothing, and the price makes the book an impulse buy. One I'm glad I made.

The book is promotional. That means the book is written to serve a a sort of extended brochure of the author's services. But you probably won't mind a bit because he addresses that up front, the book is priced so low, and you really get actionable content. The last several pages are marketing related, advertising the author's services.

And the part I think is the most instructive is that each example given, is both instructive, and also sells a service that the author provides.

So, you are really seeing several sales presentations for different services that you can then buy from the author. It's like buying a book of proven successful sales letters...each one selling something that the author sells.

The reason you don't mind, is that you are truly getting top flight instruction as you read the book, and the author is a marketer, after all.

And in the end of the book, he asks that you write a review for the book. He does it with class, and I didn't mind a bit. And so here is that review.

There's alot more to learn but just by reading this short book can really put you in the right mind set and kind of have an idea on Internet marketing. This book also introduce mike really well and he sounds like someone to be follow as a mentor. I also live in minnesota too so if he can build such an extraordinary industry over the past two decades and he's from the same stats I'm form I'm sure I can do it too.
