3Newer version does not have the same quality as older version
By Mr.Ophx
This is a newer version of this title. The older version was printed on nice glossy pages and the graphics looked nice and clean. This version seems to have printed on regular paper, so the graphics are grainy and it feels cheap. Overall the information is still the same so I am getting what I need, but I wish they had stuck with the glossy pages to keep consistent with the quality.

5Great book!
By polyglotbyron6
This book is a great intermediate (and I mean 'start not-long after you've begun your study of HTML & CSS' intermediate) book on laying out responsive web sites. This book gives a structured, orderly approach to this topic, starting with an explanation of the need for responsive design, and the approaches taken through the years towards trying to solve the problems addressed by responsive design. This explanation is short and to-the-point, and then the author immediately dives into 'how' to make this stuff work. Along the way, you won't just learn how to make a responsive site, but you'll learn some good principles of the design aspect of web development - as a programmer who doesn't play graphic designer in real life, this was really important for me. Lots of color AND b&W illustrations reinforce the concepts. Anyway, this book is a great value, and I cannot emphasize the importance of learning the material it presents early in your web development education.
